China condemns Pakistan shooting

The Chinese Foreign Ministry has expressed deep shock and strong condemnation of the violent militant attack on Chinese tourists in Pakistan.

China has launched an emergency response to deal with the issue. The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan has asked the Pakistan government to take care of the survivors, punish the gunmen, and guarantee the safety as well as legitimate rights of Chinese nationals in Pakistan.

A Chinese tourist was wounded in the shooting. The Chinese Embassy is in contact with the wounded and has asked the Pakistani military to protect him. China's Foreign Ministry has said it will provide full assistance for the survivor's repatriation and handling the affairs of the deceased.
