Two Chinese nationals have drowned while diving at a resort in Fiji, the government-owned Fiji Broadcasting Corporation (FBC) reported Tuesday.
The two Chinese men drowned at around 5:30 p.m. Monday (local time) while snorkel diving in the Nacula waters in Ba Province, the FBC said, adding they were discovered by another diver and " attempts to revive them failed".
The bodies have been conveyed to the Nacula Health Center by staff of the resort, and police were investigating the incident.
A Chinese embassy official said they were aware of the report and awaiting the formal notification from the police.
