A Chinese military expert says cooperation between China and Russia is set to enter a higher level, as the two countries prepare to conduct a joint anti-submarine exercise.

The expert says this landmark exercise shows that military relations and cooperation between the two countries are developing quickly. Russia's Dreadnought and Slava submarines are known for their strong warfare capabilities.

The introduction of the joint anti-submarine drill into China and Russia's military relationship is a chance for the two sides to advance their naval capabilities and enhance coordination in military operations.
