The bodies of three Chinese students who died in a plane crash in San Francisco were incinerated Friday (Beijing time) and the ashes will be brought back to China, the Xinhua News Agency reported.
A memorial service was held in San Francisco on Thursday in a Chinese cemetery. The parents of the three victims, Chinese Consul General in San Francisco, Yuan Nansheng, and the Mayor of San Francisco, Edwin M. Lee, attended the service.
All three victims, students from Jiangshan High School in East China's Zhejiang Province, were on board Asiana flight 214 when the plane crashed on landing at San Francisco International Airport on July 6.
