Smoke suffocates 23 Chinese tourists in W Norway

A group of 23 Chinese tourists were treated for minor smoke inhalation after a tunnel fire in western Norway, the Chinese embassy said on Tuesday.

The Chinese from Tianjin and Dalian, two port cities in northern China, were evacuated from the Gudvangen tunnel on the E-16 highway when a semitrailer caught fire Monday. They were heading to Bergen, a port city in western Norway.
