Electric shock kills pet owner

A couple was electrocuted and the man died when rescuing their electrocuted pet dog, which was playing in a pet swimming pool on August 9, the Beijing News reports.

The Kudi Pet Park swimming pool in Chaoyang Park had an electric leakage in its fountain. Sources said that the man and his wife were electrocuted when they went into the pool to rescue their pet, one of two pet dogs that were killed in the accident. The wife recovered, but the man died in the hospital.
