Four ancient villages in Beijing have been listed as Chinese traditional villages for their obvious architectural features and historical value, the Beijing Daily reports.
The list was first publicized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development last year, when nine of Beijing's villages were listed among the total 646 throughout China. The newly listed villages are Qianjuntai and Malan villages in Mentougou district, Changyucheng village in Changping district and
Jijiaying village in Miyun county.
