Man stabs ex’s new beau

A man stabbed his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend and then tried to cut his own throat on Caoxi Road in Xuhui district around 11 pm Tuesday, local media reported.

The attack took place on Qixi, known as Chinese Valentine's Day.

A video taken by a witness showed the man slit his own throat as his ex-girlfriend sat clutching her wounded, bleeding boyfriend.

Both men lived after they were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
