The foreign ministers of China and member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) will hold a special meeting on Aug. 29 in Beijing.
The meeting was announced by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei in Beijing Friday.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the formation of the China-ASEAN strategic partnership.
To celebrate the event, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his counterparts in ten ASEAN member states and the ASEAN secretary-general will attend the meeting, according to Hong.
The meeting's agenda will "center around the deepening of the China-ASEAN strategic partnership" and other major topics, Hong said.
