Jiang Jiemin, head of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, is being investigated over suspected serious disciplinary violations, Xinhua has learned from the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI).
Jiang, who became head of the state-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) in March, was previously chairman of top energy group China National Petroleum Company, or CNPC.
