A 28-month-old toddler was found to have 22 bruises after attending kinder-garten for nine days, the Beijing Evening News reported.
At first, Aidi International Kindergarten claimed that the bruises were an allergic reaction to mosquito bites. After the mother, surnamed Feng, contacted authorities, the surveillance video was turned over to police, revealing that the boy was struck by the teacher. The teacher in question, the headmaster, and security guards are under investigation. The annual tuition at Aidi International Kindergarten is 150,000 yuan ($24,490).
