Jin Jianping, former chairman of the Tianjin Gas Group Company Limited, is being investigated for "severe disciplinary violations," according to sources from the discipline committee in Tianjin, the Xinhua News Agency reported Thursday.
Tianjin Jinran Public Utilities Company Limited on September 2 stated that Jin had resigned as the company's chairman, the Beijing-based Legal Mirror reported. Jin is suspected of being a subject of the corruption investigation into the China National Petroleum Corporation and PetroChina Company.
