American center Denzel Broyles is on trial for China's Basketball Association (CBA) league club Jilin Northeast Tigers.
The 24-year-old, close to joining CBA team Zhejiang last season but forced to quit due to injuries, is trying to impress Jilin this time.
Broyles, who is 2.08 meters tall and weighs 116 kgs, showed physical fitness and shooting skills, but Jilin coach Wang Han also noticed his fatigue.
"He has outstanding physical conditions and shooting skills. He is a flexible center but his post-up play seems weak," Wang said.
"I think the tiredness was caused by the lack of trainning after he finished the Philippines league in May," said Wang.
Broyles shone in the Philippines last league season, ranked in the top three in scoring, rebounds and blocked shots.
Broyles also played in NCAA for four years and then joined a Lithuanian team where he averaged 12.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists.
Broyles believed that he could do well in China.
"My physical condition is bad now, but I'm very confident to adjust myself to the best in the season. The club need not worried about my physical condition and my outstanding performance will eliminate people's worries," Broyles said.
