Bus loses control in Shanghai

Several panels lining the side of the middle ring elevated road became dislodged when they were hit by an out-of-control bus Wednesday morning, showering smashed glass and other debris on vehicles below.

The bus lost control after colliding with a car, local news website xinmin.cn reported. A concrete barrier was damaged by the impact. Iron frames and glass fell to the ground, striking at least one car and three buses.

There were no passengers in any of the buses at the time of the accident.

The driver of the bus that collided with the sidings suffered minor injuries.
