E China gas tank blast kills 4

Four people have been confirmed dead after a gas tank explosion in east China's Shandong province on Tuesday afternoon, local authorities said on Wednesday.

The blast occurred at 5:57 p.m. at Boxing Chengli Gas Supply Co., Ltd. in Boxing county, Binzhou city, according to a source with the county government.

Fourteen injured people are being treated in a local hospital.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
