An annual report on China's human resources revealed that half of Chinese migrant workers had changed their jobs within the past 1.75 years, and 25 percent had done so over the past seven months.

The 2013 edition of the Annual Report on the Development of China's Human Resources published on Thursday by the Social Sciences Academic Press also showed that jobs for migrant workers last two years on average.

The report also noted that 41 percent of Chinese college graduates from 2011 left their jobs within half a year after graduating, up 7 percentage points year on year.

Jobs suffering a high turnover rate usually involve grass-roots workers in labor-intensive industries, which are often chosen by migrant workers, as the posts require low professional or skill levels and may be easily filled, according to the report.
