At least seven people were killed and one injured when an oil tanker exploded and caught fire in the coastal city of Ningbo in east China's Zhejiang province on Saturday morning, local authorities said.
The accident happened at about 8:40 a.m. at Zhangjianqi shipyard in the city's Zhenhai district when the 300-tonne vessel was being repaired.
The fire blaze was extinguished at about 11 a.m.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
