A young woman looking for work at job fair in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province left with a new 'do after a thief snipped off and swiped half a meter of her hair as she handed out resumes.

"There were so many people and I was carrying so many things that I didn't even feel it," said the woman surnamed Cui, who expressed both anger and amusement over losing the long locks she hadn't cut since 2010.

"You seem like a smart person, getting the idea to steal hair at a job fair," Cui warned the thief during a TV interview. "I hope you give up that kind of behavior and just get a real job."
