Kyrgyz Prime Minister Jantoro Satybaldyev met Chinese Ambassador Qi Dayu here Friday to discuss implementation of the agreements signed during a visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping last month.
According to a press release from the Kyrgyz government, Satybaldyev noted the leaders of Kyrgyzstan and China reached a number of important agreements aiming at further deepening and expanding bilateral cooperation.
"It has been a strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and China, which fully meets the interests of both countries. Today, the government is actively working on the implementation of the agreements," said the prime minister.
Qi said the establishment of a strategic partnership has offered great opportunities for China-Kyrgyzstan relations, and that President Xi highly appreciated the results of his visit to Kyrgyzstan.
The Chinese ambassador said the Chinese government will continue to provide all necessary assistance in the economic development of Kyrgyzstan.
During Xi's visit, the two countries issued a joint declaration, vowing to boost cooperation in politics, economy and security.
