5 dead in SW China road accident

Five people were killed and another person was severely injured in a road accident in southwest China's Zhengan county, Guizhou province on Monday, local authorities said on Tuesday.

The accident happened at around 9:25 p.m. on the 207 provincial road in the county, when two motorcycles and a truck collided.

Four people died at the scene. One person, who was severely injured, died in hospital. Another severely injured person is still in hospital.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
