One person has been killed and three others are seriously injured, after a train collision on the Qinghai-Tibet railway in northwest China's Qinghai Province.
The accident happened on Wednesday night, when a passenger train near Golmud station was hit by an empty train that had rolled from its siding. The passenger who died is reported to have been trapped between two carriages.
More than 50 people have been sent to hospital for observation. Three passengers with serious injuries are said to be in a stable condition. The line has now returned to normal operation, following the crash.
Qinghai's provincial government has called on medical staff to treat the injured, and deal properly with family of the passenger who died. It's also launched an investigation into the crash.
