Police in east China's Zhejiang province on Thursday announced their recent seizure of 50 suspects for dealing drugs and illegal trading in guns.
Officers in Hangzhou, Zhejiang's capital city, said they had arrested 21 for drug dealing and 29 for guns trading, with 2.9 kg of methamphetamine, more than 300 tablets of "magu," a stimulant which is composed of methamphetamine and caffeine, and 43 firearms being seized.
The detention on May 28 of a suspect surnamed Wang over illegal manufacturing and trading of guns also pointed to the whole drug dealing gang.
The network's ringleaders of 13 were caught when the suppliers brought the drugs from the southern Guangdong Province to Zhejiang's Lin'an City for trading on Aug. 18.
The rest of the gang were seized after further investigation.
