Researchers at the Research Institute of the Beijing Palace Museum said that they will spend the next five years decoding the 22,463 fragments of oracle bone relics which are now stored in the museum, the Beijing Daily reported.
The content gathered from the oracle bone relics have not yet been made available to the public; only 20 percent of it has been put on file thus far.
According to a staffer at the research institute, a Palace Museum academic website will be launched within three years to provide the public with updates on their progress.
