A 5.3-magnitude earthquake jolted Hunchun city in northeast China's Jilin province at 4:17 a.m. Wednesday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter, with a depth of 539 kilometers, was determined to be at 43.3 degrees north latitude and 130.9 degrees east longitude, the center said.
