A Fangshan district court has indicted two of four suspects involved in selling a smuggled SUV which they later tracked and stole using the vehicle's GPS, the Beijing Times reported.
One of the indicted suspects surnamed Li, along with two others surnamed Bai and Ji, both of whom are at large, allegedly purchased a smuggled Land Rover in October 2012. They installed a GPS system on the SUV and sold it to a buyer surnamed Ge on November 17, 2012.
The trio then enrolled the other indicted suspect surnamed Wang to help locate and steal the car using the installed GPS during the early morning of November 18, 2012.
