Solutions to build public ties
Leaders will address key problems in an effort to build closer ties with the public, according to an announcement by a panel in charge of the Party.s campaign:
Government conferences must be closely controlled in terms of length, attendance and bulletins
Civil servants are forbidden from treating the public with bad manners or making profit using their power
It is forbidden to spend public funds on lavish banquets and gifts, or to host expensive galas
It is forbidden to offer or accept gifts, money or coupons
Staying in lavish hotels when on overseas trips paid for with public money is forbidden
Regulations on government vehicles, offices and officials. apartments must be strictly observed
Expenses for government receptions, overseas trips and vehicles must be strictly curbed
Public interests should be protected, especially in land seizure, agricultural issues, lawsuits, work safety, food and medicine safety, environmental protection, education and healthcare.
