A 5-magnitude quake jolted the bordering area between China and India at 12:16 p.m. Wednesday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter, with a depth of 40 kilometers, was determined to be at 26.5 degrees north latitude and 93.6 degrees east longitude, the center said.
