As many as 3,000 representatives of Vietnamese youth will join 5,600 Chinese youth to attend the second China-Vietnam Youth Festival to be held in China's Guangxi province from Sunday to next Wednesday.
The information was released by Nguyen Manh Dung, secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam, at a press conference held in Hanoi on Wednesday.
Vietnamese representatives will take part in a wide range of activities in eight cities in China's Guangxi province, including visiting ancient relics and photo exhibition, joining environmental protection activities with local peers and planting friendship tree.
The first China-Vietnam Youth Festival was held in 2010 in Guangxi. The festival is a significant political event of the two nations'youngsters, contributing in strengthening friendship, mutual understanding and trust between the two peoples, Dung added.
