Three people were killed and another 7 injured in an explosion at a fireworks factory in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Thursday, local authorities said.
The accident happened at about 11 a.m. in an unlicensed fireworks factory in an orchard at Hongbeicheng Village, Hepu County.
Guangxi is a major production base for fireworks. On Nov.1 this year, 11 people were killed and 17 injured in a factory explosion in Cenxi City.
An investigation is underway.
