Three people were killed in a blast early Thursday in central China's Hunan province, local authorities said.
The blast occurred at around 5 a.m. at a pig farm in Jinyin Village, Anhua County in the city of Yiyang, killing three villagers at the scene, a statement from the county government said.
Initial investigation showed that explosives used for fishing were illegally stored there by villagers and most likely caused the blast.
Further investigation is underway.
