A blast triggered by natural gas leak occurred in a high-rise residential building Monday morning in the suburbs of Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi province.
At about 6 a.m. Monday, the blast happened in a household on the 25th floor of the building in the northern suburbs of Xi'an, damaging windows and doors of nearby apartments, said rescuers.
One person with slight injuries was saved out of the blast site. Further rescue is under way.
