Guo Youming, vice governor of central China's Hubei province, has been removed from his post for "suspected serious disciplinary violations," according to the Organization Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.
Guo is being investigated by the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, the Party's anti-corruption watchdog said in a statement released on Wednesday.
No more details about Guo's case were given.
