Blast in NE China chemical plant kills 2

A chemical plant blast Saturday in northeast China's Shenyang City of Liaoning Province killed two people, local authorities said.

The blast happened at around 6:35 p.m. at Shenyang Sanmu Chemical Company. One of the three people working at the scene escaped the blast.

Cause of the blast is under investigation.
