A set of Chinese calligraphy scrolls have set a new world record. The work features the complete version of "The Four Books and Five Classics", the authoritative books of Confucianism.
There are 60 scrolls in total in the collection. Together, the scrolls are 1,651.5 meters long, approved by the World Record Association as the longest of its kind.
Calligrapher Tian Zimao has spent over 10 years completing it. Tian says he wanted to promote Confucianism through his work.
The World Record Association based in Hong Kong was established in 2010. The organisation lists civilian world records around the globe.
