Facilities to give visually impaired people greater access to reading material in the Capital Library of China were launched in a designated room on Monday, Beijing Morning Post reported on Tuesday.
The room has special machines and equipment for visually impaired people to access and surf the Internet.
There are also books in braille and people can enter the room without registering, the report said.
