Man sentenced to death for killing family

A man was sentenced to death for killing his wife, son and daughter in Shenzhen special economic zone, Guangdong province, on Wednesday, the Southern Metropolis Daily reported.

The verdict handed down to Yang Fei, 39, was passed by Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court. Yang was also deprived of his political rights for life.

Yang, a migrant worker from Maoming in western Guangdong, was employed in a toy factory in Shenzhen's Bao'an district.

Yang killed his 41-year-old wife, surnamed Liang, after they had a quarrel on Feb 13 and he purchased a fridge to store Liang's body. Yang then killed his 12-year-old son on Dec 15 and 8-year-old daughter on Dec 17.

In addition to the crime of intentional homicide, Yang also sentenced for raping his daughter before he killed her.

Yang admitted his crimes in court.
