Fueled by promising star Wang Zhelin's big double-double, Fujian SBS snapped Xinjiang Guanghui's 10-game winning streak with a 112-110 overtime victory at home in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Sunday.
Wang Zhelin contributed 23 points and 18 boards. Delonte West and William Mcdonald helped with 22 and 21 points respectively.
After Wang finished a three-point play, Fujian led by as much as 11 points with five minutes remaining. Then James Singleton and Yang Jingmin had 10 points in a row, helping the visitors cut the deficit to one point.
Lester Hudson, who scored 25, shone behind the arc to give Xinjiang a 100-98 lead, but Su Wei fouled West and he made both shots. Then Hudson missed the buzzer beater to tie the game at 100-all into overtime.
In overtime, Hudson's 3-pointer found the basket as Xinjiang trailed by two points, but they wasted the last attack.
Singleton had a game-high 31 points and nine rebounds. Yang Jingmin added 17.
Also on Sunday, Shanxi Fenjiu's three wins in a row were ended by Beijing at 109-107.

Both teams missed several free throws afterwards to trade the chance of securing the victory. After Sun Yue made 1 of 2 on free-throw line, Shanxi had the best chance to tie or win the game.
Marcus Williams, who finished with a game-high 37 points, missed a layup. Yan Pengfei found the basket on second chance, but that happened after the alarm rang and was called off by referee.
