Sansha City in south China's Hainan province launched its government website and its first newspaper on Wednesday.
The government website shows the history, local customs and current conditions in Sansha and aims to present the progress of the city.
The newspaper, Sansha News, which is published by the city's press center, was launched to enrich the cultural life on the island city.
Sansha City was officially established in July in 2012 to administer the Xisha, Zhongsha and Nansha islands and their surrounding waters in the South China Sea.
