Beijing Guoan have unveiled their latest import -- former FC Seoul captain Ha Dae-Sung. The midfielder has signed a three-year deal to move from the Korean capital to the Chinese capital.
And this is where he will now call home, as he was unveiled to the media during a press conference at the Beijing Worker's Stadium.
The 28-year-old helped his old club win two K-League titles in 2012 and 2013, and was also an integral part of the FC Seoul club that lost the AFC Champions League final to Guangzhou Evergrande this past year. The midfielder says he is eager to try and help his new club achieve similar heights.
"This is the first time that I have signed for a football team outside of Korea. I am very excited and hope to play well in China. I am here to play for Beijing Guoan and I hope that I will find chemistry with my new teammates, so we can make a run at several championships. I will focus on my new team, and work hard so we can succeed." Ha Dae-Sung said.
