The Bird's Nest or the National Stadium of China is now hosting a snow festival which is attracting thousands to a wide range of winter activities.
This winter, Beijing hasn't seen its first snow fall yet. But locals can still have some winter fun at the Bird's Nest as man-made snow has turned the venue into a snow world for the 5th Ice and Snow Festival.
Mounds of artificial snow, mini ski slopes and skating rinks are crowded with snow lovers bundled up like Eskimos.
But the highlight of this year's event is an archery contest.
The festival also features ice dance performances, bumper cars, a snow maze and much more. Snow lovers can enjoy the annual festival until February 23rd.
