Video from a firefighter's helmet camera has documented the rescue efforts after the crash landing of an Asiana Airlines flight in San Francisco last July, which killed three Chinese teenagers. Now parts of the footage has been aired by US broadcaster CBS. It provided some evidence of how one of the three was run over by a fire truck to her death.

This is the moment rescuers first on the scene were aware of a person on the ground.

Firefighters said: "there was a body on the ground."

That was 16-year-old Ye Mengyuan from China.

Then there was chaos.

Four minutes after the crash, firefighters directed a truck around Ye. At that point, according to Ye's coroner, she was alive.

The truck then began to spray the plane with foam. It partially covered the girl's body.

According to CBC, 15 minutes after that, the vehicle drove over her, and then minutes later, a second truck did the same.

The US National Traffic Safety Board investigation has confirmed Ye was covered with foam and struck twice.

The San Francisco Chronicle first reported on the video's content. It's still unknown how Ye got out of the plane.

Ye's family has filed a legal case against the city. Litigation is still pending as investigation goes on.
