Death sentence carried out on man who kept 'sex slaves'

A man sentenced to death in Luoyang city in Central China's Henan province has been executed.

36-year old Li Hao was convicted of murder, rape, and illegal detention in November of 2012 by the Luoyang Intermediate People's Court. In 2009, Li dug a dungeon under a basement and imprisoned six women there. He raped them repeatedly and forced them to appear in pornographic online shows from March to April in 2011.

The dungeon was discovered when one of the women escaped and went to the police. Two of the women were killed by other captives on Li's orders.
