AIDS/HIV listed as occupational diseases

Chongqing municipality added 18 diseases including AIDS/HIV to its occupational diseases classification and catalog, Chongqing Daily reported on Friday.

The listing of AIDS/HIV as occupational diseases was only in connection with medical staff or police who could possibly be infected if they work closely with AIDS patients.

The newly upgraded classification and catalog includes 132 diseases.
