HK authorities have finished evidence collection in Indonesia

Hong Kong authorities have said evidence collection in Indonesia in the torture case involving an Indonesian maid and her Hong Kong employer has finished. They are expected to return to Hong Kong this weekend.

Hong Kong police interviewed and took DNA samples on Tuesday from the 23-year-old Indonesian maid, who said she suffered months of abuse from the 44-year-old woman in Hong Kong. Hong Kong police arrested the employer on Monday.

The victim is currently in the hospital in Indonesia.
