As China's Li Na continues to bask in the glory of her Australian Open title she is also celebrating a move up the WTA World Rankings.
The win for the Chinese at Melbourne Park where she downed Dominika Cibulkova for the title pushed the Chinese into the top three in the world. That ties her career high.
Li was also able to push aside some demons over the weekend as she broke through after losing twice lost in the final 'Down Under'. And she has made overtures about possibly becoming the world's number one player, but to do that she will need to be part of more trophy celebrations so there is still work to be done for her to achieve that goal. But moving into the top two is definitely possible.
So here is a look at the latest rankings, Serena Williams will not be caught any time soon for the top spot, but Li Na could realistically overtake Victoria Azarenka for second. The Chinese is a mere 11 points back of the Belarussian. Agieszka Radwanska and Maria Sharapova round out the top five.
