Shots through kindergarten window

A 26-year-old man, surnamed Zhao, has been jailed for accidentally shattering the glass of a kindergarten with a gun, the Beijing Morning Post reported.

In court, Zhao confessed that he and his friend had used a loaded gun to shoot at outdoor targets.

According to the driver of the kindergarten, he heard gunshots and then observed that three windows in the school building had been shattered by bullets.

Zhao has been sentenced to 14 months in jail by Chaoyang district court.
