Heavy snow hits most parts of China

A blizzard warning continues for East and North China. In east China's Jiangsu province, entrances to several highways have been closed due to heavy snow. Flights were cancelled in the Nanjing International Airport, and the city is on blue alert for the blizzard.

In north China's Inner Mongolia, all the night flights were canceled on Monday night. The temperature in Hohhot has dropped to minus twenty degrees Celsius. Entrances to several expressways have been closed there, too. Forecasters say the snowy weather will end on Wednesday. But central and eastern China will see a new round of snow and rain next week.
