Chinese lawmakers have filed over 460 motions to the secretariat of the Second Session of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC), an official said here on Sunday. [Special coverage]
According to Li Bojun, an official with the secretariat of the session, the motions concerned a wide range of issues of economics, politics, culture, social development and ecological conservation.
The lawmakers have focused on measures to maintain healthy and sustainable economic growth, promoting reforms in accordance with law, improving people's well-being and pushing forward ecological preservation, Li said.
The deadline for submitting motions at this year's NPC session is midnight Sunday.
