"It may be that some people could steal my passport and I think my passport maybe nobody can use it again because when I went back to Italy I talked with police, Italian police, to lock my last passport and so nobody can use it." Maraldi

Maraldi's passport was one of two confirmed stolen ones used by passengers boarding Malaysia Airlines flight MH370. Maraldi lost his last year in Phuket. He reported the incident to local and Italian police. Thai police say they are investigating. On Saturday, European authorities confirmed Maraldi's name and nationality, as well as the passport belonging to an Austrian man under the name Christian Kozel.
