A woman who attempted suicide off a bridge in Fuyang, Zhejiang province has only a vague recollection of how she ended up soaking wet in the streets in another city 300 kilometers away.
The 37-year-old woman was returned to family members after police found her dripping wet on a street in the city of Taizhou, Jiangsu province on Sunday.
She told authorities she jumped into the Fujiang River on the evening of March 6 and lost consciousness soon after.
However, the woman claimed to vaguely recall someone saving her on a boat and leaving her in the city of Taizhou, without adding further details.
The Jiangsu native explained she was pushed to attempt suicide following abuse from her husband who accused her of infidelity
Family members said she had already tried to kill herself once before by carbon monoxide poisoning.
